PS3 Rar extractor
Hi guys, today I developed a tool to extract rar files directly to a Fat32 HD, automatically splitting large files (bigger than 4gb) in the PS3 format (x, x.part.1, x.part.2, etc.)
This is currently in beta version, and it can be a little bit unstable, but it works :D (tested in a few games).
I have plans to improve this tool, adding support to PSARC extraction (currently working but not usable int his version).
If someone shows interest and it doesnt violate any rule, I put this tool here to download.
my english is a little bit rusty :\

Oh damn, I wish I would've thought about that. Out of curiosity, did you program this in VB.net?

I've done it using c#, running under .NET Framework 4.0

hi, paulosmasher
after splitting, those files (x, x.part.1, x.part.2, etc.) will run on internal or external HDD?
-
I made it to run on External HDs, you dont have to split the files in order to run it on a internal.
this is not a miracle tool, it may work in mostly games, but some can only work using a internal.
PSARC files may not work if they are splitted that way, so you will need to use the PSARC extractor (coming really soon), but it still dont work in all games.
I got Uncharted 2 working, but couldnt do Killzone2.
