Interesting, How do we know all this, isn't it speculation? Is it literally impossible for Sony do stop people via PSN ban?

no way to know for sure unless someone comes in and tells us they've been psn banned. but just like on psp, the cfw is made to look exactly like ofw, if that's true they shouldn't be able to tell the difference. as long as they can't see you doing things you can't do on ofw, we should be fine.

its almost impossible for them to detect the cfw since we have the keys

could Sony not just issue a newer signature for newer packages ?

doing so would mean the death of all previous disc game,psn game and anything else that used the old signature.thats a lot of money gone down the drain.

pardon my ignorance with this but some of us still aren't quite versed in the hacking scene as others! i have my hands on a 3.41 and it looks like its damned if you do update now (can't play pirated games), damned if you don't (can't get on psn) as far as some options correct?

1 - What is 3.41 Rebug
A - It is an Custom Firmware built by Evilsperm and Cyberskunk and works on 3.41 without using dongle

--is there a link/tutorial on how to install said cfw? and whats a dongle?

2 - Does it allow psn?
A - No it doesn't allow psn

-- hard to tell now, but will it ever?

4 - Can i run games?
A - Yes you can but have to jailbreak it and it has its on payload.

7- Whats your opinion on it?
A- If your a new user or moderate dont update as its also pretty useless atm,you can play jb games anyway if you have dongle so there's no point as it doesn't support PSN

Simply download the update from the ps3 news section and update t it as you do normal ps3 update just by putting on usb and update.

You can tell by the looks that psn wont be supported on 3.41 anymore if 3.55 gets game support as it will be completed useless to stick to 3.41 when you have 3.55 with psn and game support
