Default New PS3 Sixaxis controller driver for PC

Motioninjoy has released a new PS3/360 controller driver for the PC. Most of you already have the ability to use such controllers but what makes this driver special is it is even compatible with Windows Vista and also provides motion sensor and rumble support.

    Code:
Version 0.4.0002(Xbox 360 Controller Emulator available)
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4SZIR2Q1 - 32bit systems - Windows XP, Vista, 7
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BRHS5NG6 - 64bit systems - Windows Vista, 7
Installation instructions: Taken from the site with minor edits.

    1. Run the install program. follow the setup steps. By default it will place the drivers and software in "C:\Program Files\MotioninJoy\ds3".
    2. Plug in your Playstation 3 controller(Sixaxis or Dualshock 3). If you haven't done this before, you will see that some basic Windows drivers are installed.
    3. From the start menu - "Start->All Programs->MotioninJoy->Install USB driver".Make sure to right click it and click "Run as administrator" or the driver will not install properly if your system is x64, before moving on to the next step.
    4. If your system is 32bits windows skip this step. Restart Windows - when it starts to boot up again repeatedly press the F8 key just after the BIOS does its POST. Select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement".
    5. Unplug the other USB bluetooth dongles if any except the one you need to connect your controller. After Windows install its default driver, right click "Start->All Programs->MotioninJoy->Install Bluetooth driver" run as administrator. If you need to use other bluetooth dongles, just plug them in after installation finishes.
    6. If your system is 64bits windows do step 4 again.
    7. To use it go to "Start -> All Programs -> Motioninjoy -> DS3" which will open up the configuration window, choose the option that best suits your controller and click enable.
If you did it properly each light on the controller will light up one by one and then stay lit when connected.

(OP's NOTE: The following steps are if you plan on using the bluetooth tech to use your PS3/360 controller on your computer rather than using the USB plug. This also requires you have Microsoft .net installed.)
    7. Start->All Programs->MotioninJoy->DS3 TOOL(request Microsoft .NET 3.5),click "Pairing" button.
    8. Unplug the USB wire, press Playstation 3 controller's "PS" button shortly to connect via bluetooth,The LED of "1" will always light after connected, dualshock 3 controllers will vibrate for a moment.
    9. Select the option that pertains to your controller and click the "Enable Options" button.
    10. Enjoy your Windows games.
    11. Long press Playstation 3 controller's(sixaxis' or dualshcok 3's) "PS" button to disconnect.

If you have any questions, drop em below and I'll try my best to help. You can also google "motioninjoy" as they also have a FAQ of their own.
I've installed this on 2 separate computers one using Windows Vista and the other using XP and have no complaints. Anyway, I hope this helps someone. Enjoy!

What is the usage of this? Can you use it for playing PC games or for project 64?

YES you can play on your favorite whatever emulator or pc games.

I haven't tried this newest version of ps3motionjoy but on older versions it worked just fine so I'm sure there isn't much of a difference on this new one.

Good thing I bumped it up then, huh?

I use this to for my PS1/N64 emulators all the time. It's really easy to setup and get going.

The How To Use instructions may be a bit dated as the newer versions have made it much easier to set up. I should probably update the OP.
