We've not even considered buying our son a 3DS. We still have the older Phat model. The good 'ol AceKard 2.1 still going strong. :D

I was playing around with a 3DS at Target the other day, I was kind of excited to see it and play it but left feeling a lot different.

My kids were not even impressed with it, actually my daughter said the picture is annoying.

I was playing around with a 3DS at Target the other day, I was kind of excited to see it and play it but left feeling a lot different.

Kids these days man, they can't appreciate ****.

Then if you go off on a rant about "Well, back in my day.." and you start talking about the pill popping pacman and the tv's with the knobs and how you had to slap the side of your tv to get good reception and you never even heard of the idea of HDMI they look at you like you're stupid.

I wonder if that's how my parents feel when they use to talk to me about stuff.

You know what sound I miss? The static from tv's that weren't tuned to the right channel. That loud SSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH that would wake everyone up in the house when you wanted to play games at 3 in the morning. It's like the volume always set itself to full blast at night.

Having said that, I'm not impressed with the 3DS. I have a family member that has one. He's had a lot of problems out of his 3DS. I'm not impressed with how it looks in 3D or performs myself going by seeing it with my own eyes. Thanks!

we still have analogue tvs here. digital ones are being sold. but you can't beat a 18" CRT for €50.
