Thread: Our new site! Gametr.com

Yes, you've heard right! Bojuenx and Fairblack have opened yet another website and we are recruiting people that want to help write reviews, find cheats, create walk throughs, and things like this! This is a open offer and doesn't only apply to current staff on any of the websites, you just have to be checked by me and you're good to go after my approval!

Now you may ask what this is and what we will cover!

• This is a website made to educate people on games.
• This will includes consoles, such as, but not limited to - PSP, PS2, X-Box360, and the PC. If needed more subjects might appear, but for now we are going to start it off with this.
• We will be producing many things. This includes walk troughs, cheats, reviews, screen shots, game ranks, opinions on future and new releases.

That sounds cool! What do I need to participate as a writer?

• Creativity is one of the major things you'll need, simply because you need to think outside the box and not just sound like every other reviewer on every other reviewing site.
• Patience, as it will take you a long time to write these reviews and sometimes you won't get the kind of credit you deserve until the site grows.
• Spelling and grammar skills, this could be the single most important thing you'll need. People have to be able to understand what you're saying or they'll be left in awe - but not for the game, for the fact they can't decipher anything you've written!
• Some free time, this really isn't important. I'm not going to force you to crank out one review a day, most of the time you'll even be allowed to pick the games you review.
• The ability to take/find screen shots of games. This is another one of those really important qualities, you have to be able to do this so you can show what it looks like in game, hopefully both the actual game play and the cut scenes to show the graphic quality and the system it uses.
• Gaming experience, we can't expect you to know if the game is unique or not if you've only played a few games your entire life!
• The ability to work as a team with people. Sometimes you're going to need to write reviews with another person just so there will be varying views, other times you'll write an opposing review on a game so people can see both sides of the story. Either way you have to be able to work well with others or you'll never be able to do much for us!

Well what do I do to become part of this?

Simply give me a PM and I'll set you up with an account, tell me what you're interested in doing and I'll tell you who is working on what. PM me with the following details and I'll be able to set you up!

• The account name you'd like
• What you'd like to work on
• How proficient you are at writing
• What your real name is
• How often you'd be able to contribute (for reference)
• Approximately how often you play games.
• What you'd like your password to be to login with.

the site name should end in iso. like the sister sites....

thing is its not for iso's from my understanding its for walkthroughs and pictures and stuff on games. at least thats what i got from reading this thread.
