Not true at all. There are multiple threads with multiple different subjects, including PSN downloads of course. Just because you don't have TB doesn't mean you can't do things with a cfw PS3. Like I said, PS3 ISO Downloads aren't the only things on this site. You can always find your buds on different threads.

To quote your own opening sentence, ''Not true at all.'' You can't have a live chat in a thread, you can't have a laugh and a joke in a thread nor can you have a bit of friendly banter because

A: It would fill the respective threads up with off topic ramblings and cause problems for all those taking part

B: Without the ability to talk in real time all spontaneity is lost. It's like a long distance Chess game played either by SMS or e-mail: sounds fine in principle but the reality is deadly tedious.

By removing the ability to communicate instantly you become less of a community as there's no way to sound people out and cultivate camaraderie and bonhomie.

Just an opinion.

We will be looking into ways to get server tweaks and try to get chat back.
For now it's the safest option!

@Absurd,@gaara I totally agree with you guys, I don't play that much on the PS3 but only come to this site for the community. In this time when file hosts are being shut down and when there's nothing new, they should add something to the site, not remove a reason for members to be online. But it's done as @kam said and there's nothing you can do about it.

I couldn't +rep all 3 of you but it's due for those who didn't get rep added.

beharii always gets it right, this is not just a place to get as much stuff as you can.
It is nice to share opinions too and talk about pretty much anything - see the importance of the chatbox here where we've been talking about food and out devotion for videogames.
Yes, there are people who want to talk about games, not just download.
