I think a shoutbox is a good ice breaker and also a good way of helping people who are new to the site. Better to ask in the SB than create another 87 threads about either new CFW's, fake CFW's or why can't they play bent games on their brand spanking new 4.xx firmware machine.

What are the possibilities of a flash chat room? One where you could only enter with your forum name, no anons. You wouldn't need 'ops' like in IRC and if anyone was to cause trouble, be abusive or use inflammatory or racist language then a quick screen grab uploaded onto a dedicated forum thread would result in swift, visible justice. Not only would it be a great deterrent but may possibly make people who write derogatory posts in regular threads think twice.

Well you could always use irc or something similar for chat. That way its not on this server.
